The Bike is Here!

First things first - a few days ago I lost my mind and bought a road bike. It arrived today. yippee! It looks beautiful, and brand new, which really is a testament to how little that guy's girlfriend wanted to ride a bike. It also looked like it was in several pieces, since it's hard to ship a fully assembled bicycle. And Geoffrey was at work, so I was left to my own devices. I now have it at least looking like an actual, all in one piece, bicycle. But I'm definitely not going to set off on it until someone far more qualified than me has a good look at it.

Before the bike arrived - ran 5 miles with Clark. Great fun.

Then had a special swimming pool appearance at the Y with Sam. Also great fun. Except the alleged warm pool was freezing. The poor kid's teeth were chattering the whole time. He hasn't exactly got a lot of meat on his bones for insulation.

In actual farm news, I'm beginning to tire of lazing about all day (although it's only been 2 weeks since our last day at market), and have started creating spreadsheets of last year to track everything. Note to self: Do a Decent Inventory!!!! You can tell the weeks I was hot and tired or cold and cranky, and the inventory on those weeks leaves a little to be desired. Doing a little bit of fanciful recreation to allocate revenue. I'm pretty accurate but I'm also pretty sure I wouldn't get through business school like this.
